Mattepainting done last month for the Luminarium's latest exhibit, Gaia. It was taken from a sketch I did a while back ([link]) and changed a little to match the concept I had in mind. I enjoy the way it turned out.
Nice one! I like the composition. However it looks to me more like a concept matte rather than a finished matte painting. If you look on the right side of the image where the river is, the pictures you used are really sharp comparing to the elements on the left. They also look quite painterly, especially the mountains in the background, making you lose the same consistency throughout the image. But it's just some technical criticism, something to keep in mind with your future work. Good work, keep it up!
